How Super Besty Font Brought Playful Energy to My Campaign Visuals

The Last-Minute Font Fix for a Summer Sale Series

I was halfway through designing a week-long Instagram carousel series for a summer skincare launch when I hit a wall. The visuals were bright, the product photos were crisp, but something was missing. The headlines felt flat. I needed a font that could carry the energy of a sun-soaked season while still being legible across mobile thumbnails and story previews. That’s when I remembered Super Besty.

What Makes Super Besty Stand Out in a Crowded Feed?

Super Besty is a thick, cartoon-style display font with a personality that leans playful without being childish. It’s got rounded edges, bold letterforms, and just the right amount of bounce to make your message feel approachable. It’s not meant for body copy or long paragraphs—that’s where your clean sans serif comes in—but for headlines, callouts, and short-form text, it’s gold.

I used it for the main headers across the carousel slides and instantly saw the difference. The font gave the campaign a cohesive visual hook, especially when used consistently across thumbnails, banners, and preview images.

Where Super Besty Shines in Digital Campaigns

This display font works best in high-visibility areas where you need to grab attention fast. I used it across:

Choosing the Right Message Format for Super Besty

Because of its bold, cartoon-like style, Super Besty is best used for short, impactful text. I stuck to using it for headlines like “Glow Up Time!” and “Summer Skin Starts Here” rather than longer descriptions. It’s not ideal for paragraph text, but as a display font, it’s perfect for:

  1. Campaign headers
  2. Logo-style text
  3. Callout boxes
  4. Branded quote graphics
  5. Product teaser titles

Readability Tips for Mobile and Thumbnail Views

When designing for mobile, especially in fast-scrolling feeds, clarity is key. I made sure to:

Super Besty scaled beautifully across different sizes, but I made sure not to go below 20px on mobile banners to keep the message clear.

Font Pairing: How to Balance Playfulness with Professionalism

One of the best things about using a display font like Super Besty is that it opens the door for creative font pairing. In this campaign, I paired it with a clean, modern sans serif for subheaders and body text. This created a balanced visual rhythm—playful but not unprofessional.

For example, I used Super Besty for the headline “Summer Glow Ahead” and a simple sans serif for the supporting text: “Shop our curated collection of lightweight moisturizers and sun protection essentials.”

Other great pairing options include:

Checking the Fine Print: Licensing and Font Features

Before locking in Super Besty for the campaign, I double-checked the font’s licensing terms. Since the campaign included digital ads, email templates, and branded assets for a client, I needed a commercial-use license. Luckily, Super Besty came with one, and that made all the difference.

I also made sure to review the font files included in the package:

Final Layouts and Real-World Impact

Once all the visuals were set, I reviewed the full campaign set—from the main launch graphic to the daily teaser posts. Using Super Besty consistently across all touchpoints gave the campaign a unified look and feel. It wasn’t just about aesthetics; it was about clarity, engagement, and making sure the message landed quickly in a scroll-heavy environment.

Whether it was a YouTube thumbnail asking “Ready for Summer Skin?” or a Pinterest pin featuring “Top 5 Skincare Essentials,” Super Besty delivered a tone that matched the brand voice—fun, fresh, and friendly.

Why Super Besty Works for Campaign Designers

As a content creator, I’m always on the lookout for design assets that do more than just look good. Super Besty is a display font that helps tell a story at a glance. Whether you're building a product launch, a seasonal sale, or a branded content series, it’s a font that brings personality without sacrificing clarity.

If you’re working on a campaign that needs a little more charm, a little more bounce, and a lot more visual punch, Super Besty might just be the typography tool you didn’t know you needed.
